The Prater Service GmbH, a company owned by the City of Vienna, was commissioned to administrate the Wurstelprater in 2004 and since then, it has been also responsible for the realization of structural measures and infrastructural projects as well as organizational measures in terms of a positive general development of the Prater.

In the past years, the Prater Service GmbH has become a significant service provider of the City of Vienna and has considerably contributed to the securing and the development of the Prater as a business location. Besides, the Prater Service GmbH considers itself a service provider for visitors and entrepreneurs of the Prater.

Quality Assurance

Service, cleanliness, and safety are crucial quality criteria in the Prater, whose securing is one of our top priorities. The Prater Service GmbH employs around 20 seasonal workers who are responsible for these tasks. The team consists of cleaners for streets and public sanitary facilities, a multilingual info-team for visitors' inquiries, and a security unit, which maintains order and increases the subjective feeling of safety among visitors by means of inspections. The company is also in charge of garden maintenance and landscape gardening.

The Prater Service GmbH aims at constantly increasing the Wurstelprater's quality level and at improving its image, in order to provide a pleasant and exciting stay for its visitors. Structured construction projects shall improve the amusement park's attractiveness step by step and increase its economic performance. In addition, the company is in charge of marketing campaigns and supports the Prater entrepreneurs with various events and measures.
