Mag. Georg Wurz was bon in 1960 in Vienna. After graduation, Mr Wurz worked for the Financial Administration of the City of Vienna and started his studies at law school, which he completed successfully in 1990.

In 2001, the lawyer went to MBG ("Wiener Messe Besitz GmbH") and supported the company during the reconstruction phase of the exhibition center as Head of the Legal Department. In 2002, Georg Wurz was entrusted with the Prater's administration and appointed General Manager of the Prater Administration Company, an MBG subsidiary.

From 2004 onwards, Mr Wurz has been managing the stadt wien marketing's and the prater service GmbH's business. In his current function as the General Manager of the Praterservice GmbH, Mr Wurz focuses on the reorientation and the forward-looking development of the Prater, as well as the realization of structural projects.
